I'll admit I was a little worried about the fact that I didn't have a suit to fit my 24 week belly, but I did the best I could with this cute fall maternity dress my parents were kind enough to give me. In preparation, I re-skimmed my 67 page bar application to remind myself just how many accidents I told the Board of Law Examiners that I'd been in, how many tickets I'd had, and that kind of thing. I really had no idea what to expect, so better safe than sorry.Turns out the interview really wasn't a big deal. I was dressed much more professionally than the attorney, and he said that I was basically a shoe-in but he was just required to meet me and give me a little pep talk (which basically consisted of "you can be forgiven for drug and alcohol problems and petty crimes, but don't touch other people's money or you'll get disbarred"). Good to know!
Anyway, I'm actually waiting much less impatiently for these results than I did for my LSAT score and grades after each semester. Although I was genuinely worried (um, terrified) going into the exam, after taking it I felt pretty confident. And if for some reason things don't turn out as expected, you just take it again! The idea of me failing the bar pretty much seems laughable to me right now, but I have a feeling that if it happened I wouldn't be laughing. (12 hours of testing on more than 12 different areas of the law wasn't exactly what I would call fun.)
The part I am anxious for?? Actually getting sworn into the bar and finally being entitled to call myself a lawyer! (You see, if I did so now, I would get, you know .... disbarred.)

Its not even possible for you to fail. And I'm so excited to come back to church so that I can see all of your wonderful maternity dresses. I feel so out of the loop.
You look so great Lindsey! I can't wait to see you in just a little over a week - YAY!
Oh - and good luck tomorrow :o) xoxox
I officially hire you as my lawyer so you can't take my money anymore.
Very funny Joe...but Franklin wants to remind you that now that you have HIRED her as your lawyer, she will be getting the size retainer that basically means she'll be getting ALL your money! I think you lose either way...or let's be more optimistic and say you WIN either way, because you have Lindsey AND Max!
#1 in your class...um, I don't think you need to worry.
Lindsey, you look so cute! I know you did well on your bar exam, but I am sure the wait is hard.
Yay! You're almost there! You look awesome in that dress too. So cute.
You'll be fine! More than fine! That long, though?! Daaaang. What have you been doing in the meantime? Or were you able to get a job...? I'm apparently outta the loop...You're adorable in that outfit. You'll be an excellent mommy! Love you two!
